Your in Network Marketing is something wrong?

Network Marketing Business Opportunity

Let’s take a look at Network Marketing. In some people’s mind, you just mention the phrase network marketing or MLM, and they look at you like you just landed from Mars. The next thing they do is run from you like you are from Mars. I am not so sure that someone from Mars might be greeted differently. The question is why? I can talk with anyone about my business as long as it is not in the Network Marketing industry. When I was in the wireless industry and would share with people what I did no one ran away from me. As a matter of fact, they wanted to ask me questions about it, they wanted to know if I could help them with their personal account or the company account. What’s the difference? In everything, it is about perception. I was in the wireless industry for years, and it was always perceived as a real legitimate business. A Network Marketing Opportunity, on the other hand, is not perceived that way. It is almost automatic that as soon as people find out  you are in Network Marketing, they perceive you are offering some kind of snake oil. It cannot possibly be a real business, cannot be real products because if they were they would be sold in all the stores.

A Matter of Perception

It is a matter of perception and perception is very closely related to making assumptions and we all know what they say about people who make assumptions. People perceive that those involved in Network Marketing are people that cannot get a real job. They cannot make it in the real workforce, so they went to MLM or  Home Business Network Marketing.

People tend to discount or ignore what they don’t know anything about and so again without really understanding it they perceive and that perception is almost always incorrect.
