Starting a Home Based Business- What is your Commitment Level? Part II

Starting a Home Based Business but what is the commitment level of the person wanting to sponsor you?

This is an important network marketing tip, that is if you want to implement a success strategy, if so pay close attention.

As we have already mentioned, you have to determine your level of commitment, but you need to figure out real quick how committed the person you are considering signing up under is as well. Are they committed to you? Are they committed to the business opportunity? Are they a sponsor or a recruiter? There is a definite difference and you need to know what the difference is. We will leave that for now for a later time, so let’s move on.

So you might be thinking wait, I am ready to get started and the sooner the better. That is a good attitude but just maybe this will spare you some challenges, or quite possibly help you avoid crashing and burning. Here is the second question, how committed is the person wanting to sponsor you to the business? The rest of that question or part B is, how committed to you are they? You need to determine their commitment level as well as yours. These are some really important things to consider before you sign up with him or her. You may say, but I have known this person for years, they are a personal friend, or a colleague from work. There is not anything wrong in signing up with a friend or a colleague but you need to determine this before you do. This is going to be critical to your success.

You need to absolutely find out what their commitment is to the company they are sharing with you. If they are not committed, and I mean hardcore committed, then you want to find someone else to sponsor you, if that is the company you want to join. Here is the reason why; if they are not fully committed to the company, when the company hits some bumps in the road and all companies do, they might just bail on you and the company. You say they would never do that, they love the company, and you might be right but the question is, are they going to love it during the bumps, or are they going to run for the hills and be looking for a new opportunity? I can tell you from first hand experience, most people will run off when the bumpy road starts, to the next greatest opportunity since sliced bread, they may tell you and others they are only diversifying and protecting their interests but the truth is they are bailing. I have lived through that and know it happens more times than not.

If you have found the company you want to hook your wagon to, then you have to know you are committed and the person you sign up with is committed not only to the company but to you as well. If they are not then my recommendation is to find someone that is committed to the company and will be committed to help you build your business. Someone that will stay the course and see it through until you become successful. Network Marketing today is fantastic but there are lots of people who think it is the place to earn quick money and the truth is that might be possible but it really is for the long haul. It is a real business and it takes time to build a business. It is an industry that attracts people who in many instances give the industry a black eye. There are a lot of recruiters but very few that really understand mlm sponsoring.
