Network Marketing Strategy

You might be thinking Network Marketing and Integrity doesn’t even belong in the same sentence little lone part of a Network Marketing Strategy.

That is the mindset of a lot of people, and in some instances rightly so. A lot of people believe that integrity and network marketing doesn’t go together. However, should an entire industry should be thrown out because of a few bad apples? I believe integrity has to be one of the buildings blocks no matter what you are building, and without question it has to be the cornerstone of Network Marketing.

My viewpoint is if I cannot engage in something and maintain my integrity, then I have no business participating period. I was raised to believe keeping my word no matter how big or small the situation was important, and it was critical that I honor my word. How can anyone expect someone else to trust them if they cannot trust themselves? There are those that do somehow think that is possible, but they are only kidding themselves.

Integrity goes to the heart of who a person is, if a person gives their word regarding something then they need to make absolutely sure to follow through. That is pertinent to the big things in life but also applicable across the board. If one cannot be trusted in the small things, then they will never be trusted with the big things. If one somehow manage to fake their way through it is only a matter of time until there is a collapse and the only difference will be how many people will be impacted? It won’t just be them but their family and everyone that depended on them.

Here is a quick example, if I tell someone that I am going to call them then that is exactly what I need to do. Even though in the scheme of things it seems irrelevant. It’s more important than one might initially think because what you are really doing is setting a precedent. Some people make a lot of promises with no intention of keeping them, and think that is okay, it’s not. Life, Network Marketing should be about being honest and telling people the truth and part of that is following through. Honesty is always the best policy and maintaining ones integrity is mandatory. You want to build a successful home based business then always under promise but always over perform.

How does all of this correlate with a network marketing strategy? This not only applicable to network marketing or the home based industry but everything. The reality is people do repeat business with people they know, like and trust. If one cannot be trusted to keep their word, which is the foundation, one cannot be trusted in other areas either.

In a Network Marketing company integrity starts with the Founder, CEO/Owner. If he or she gives their word and yet does not follow up and through then you need to be really careful about putting all your eggs in their basket or at all. That is where it starts, but it continues all the way down to those in the field, a promise should never be made to do something that one does not fully intend to keep. Don’t tell someone that you will call them but never get around to it. Don’t make promises you cannot or will not keep. It is a reflection of who you are as a person. Personally, I do everything I can to protect my integrity, I sometimes swear to my own hurt. That simply means that there have been occasions that I have said I would do something only to realize later that it was not a good idea but because my word is out there, I have to follow through.

We need to live our lives with integrity, and we need to build our home based business with integrity, because if we don’t, really all we are building is a house of cards. If one cannot believe their own word no one else will either.
