For a moment, I would like you stop and think about the differences between network marketing businesses and a franchise. One for sure is the price, in most network marketing businesses you can start to take part for as little as $25 up to $1500 and more. The price for most established franchises are around three-quarters of a million dollars. I do not want to focus on the difference in price, however what I would like to point out is that one has a real system, that produces systematic results and the other one doesn’t, that is until now, but more on that in a moment.

Consider a franchise operation like Burger King or McDonald’s. McDonald’s is one of the largest fast food organizations in the world. They have 32,000 plus restaurants that serve more than 64 million people in 120 countries each day.

Eighty-five percent of  McDonald’s are owned and operated by independent business owners, from varied backgrounds. Let me ask you this question, have you ever seen a McDonald’s that is no longer in business? It might exist but personally, I have never seen one. How and why is that? One reason and that is they have a system. They have a system that works.

When you buy a McDonald’s franchise you may think you can do with it what you want, but you would be wrong. You will agree to follow their system, or you will not buy one for any amount of money. Why? Simple they are not going to allow anyone to try to wing it to make it work. They will not allow someone to come in and negatively impact McDonald’s because they thought they would try to reinvent the wheel.
They have a system, and it works. You follow the system, and you too will have a successful franchise. It is not about the best hamburger, French fries or milk shakes it is about the “system.”

So back to network marketing, the reason most people quit network marketing is because they do not have a system. They all try to reinvent the wheel and even if there is a so-called system not everyone can do it. That is another difference with McDonald’s, everyone can do it because it is not based on their skill or smarts, but their ability to follow directions. In network marketing most things referred to as a system are just another way for the people who created the system to make money. It is not a “system” like you would find in a McDonald’s or any other franchise.

A true system is one that 99.9% of people absolutely can do as long as they have a pulse. It is simple to follow and one that pays high rewards.

Does such a system exist for the network marketing industry? Absolutely, it does and it flat-out works. When you couple this system with network marketing, a great product and great compensation plan, get ready for success you have only dreamed of in the past but now could be your reality. Look this is not hype, this system does not need hyped and there is no begging, pleading or beating people into submission until they join. About now you are on the edge of your seat or picking yourself up off the floor. Please understand this, we are not sharing this because we need to have you in our business. You can stop reading now, and we will be perfectly fine. But you may not if you continue to do what you are doing. We are offering you this once in a lifetime opportunity because we know what it is to try to build a network marketing business, the way everyone else does. We know the frustrations and all the things you have to deal with, been there done that. What a lot of that frustration originates from is not having people that are interested in what you are doing. They don’t get it and actually think you are crazy and wasting your time. You run out of  your warm market.

Then what happens? Your business comes to a standstill, because not only have you run out of your warm market but so has your team members.

With this system, you never run out of a warm market. These leads are sorted, pre-qualified and have bought into the program. They are not tire kickers, do not need persuaded or coerced to take part. They are looking for someone to take them the rest of the way. Are you that someone? You could be. You know, and I know you can choose not to believe this, or you can decide this is what you have looked for all of your network marketing life. The decision is up to you.

Rejection and Overcoming Objections in Building Your Business.
Here as a refresher is the four main objections:
#1. Lack of money
#2. Lack of time
#3. Don’t like network marketing
#4. I am not a salesperson

Now what you have to do is understand what it is they are actually saying when they make those statements. If you can do that you will gain a glimpse inside and be able to provide a solution. The next step is to listen closely, as an example when a person states they lack the money or cannot afford it, they might be saying show me how I can make money doing this. When you hear one of the objections above consider the 4 options below of what might they might actually be saying.

What they Really Saying.
#1. Show me how I can make money
#2  Explain to me how I can fit this into my busy schedule with everything I’m already doing
#3. Explain how this is different than what I’ve always heard
#4. Tell me I can do this

Now more than likely at one time you probably felt the same way as they did to some degree. If you look at the objections, you can really see that most people are just asking for you to show them how it can be different.

Here is how you might respond, there are actually three ways I suggest you respond when you get an objection.

#1. When you are sharing with someone and they raise an objection, what you want to do is ask them what do you mean exactly by that? You want them to explain what they mean, this also gives you time to respond, this also helps you to be able to zero in on what might be the real issue.

#2. The second way to respond to an objection is to say no doubt you have a good reason for saying that. Is it okay if I ask what your reason is?

#3. The third way to respond to an objection is to express empathy with them or to say I understand how you feel. But what you need to do is make sure that you’re being completely and totally honest if you can relate to what they’re saying. If you have felt that way let them know that, you could say to them I felt the same way at one time. Now if you haven’t, what you would want to say, is others have felt that same way as well but this is what they discovered.

As you practice this over and over what you are learning to do is to disarm people. The amazing thing about it is that most people want you to disarm them. What a lot of people will do is test you by their response to see if you are committed yourself,  and if you are honest. I remember years ago when I was out on a sales call and this guy obviously was very sharp, he asked me a question, and I told him that I was not sure of the answer but would find out what it was and get back with him. He laughed and said that would not be necessary, he already knew the answer but wanted to know if I was going to shoot straight with him or try and blow smoke. He became my customer by the end of our meeting. People are looking for solutions, but they are also looking for people they believe they can like and trust.

How about the objection of not enough time
Again what you want to do is have empathy toward them. When you hear the time objection, what you need to say something similar to this; if I understand you correctly you really get what’s going on here and would like to be able to do it, but there seems to be an issue of fitting it into your already busy schedule. Would you say that’s correct?

At this point, you can share with them the when you got started time was an issue for you as well. However, you know what I began to realize was that if I didn’t do something different, I would never be able to find the time to do the things that I wanted to do. Now they understand that you’re on their side, you understand you’ve been there. There is built-in to this business a way for each of us to find the time we need. I ‘ll be happy to show you what was shown to me, once we have done that, will you be ready to get started?

How about the objection but I’m not a salesperson?
So just so I’m clear and understand you correctly, you really do get what’s going on here and even like the idea of being able to do it. However, you’re afraid or concerned that you might not have the skills to do it, would that be correct? What if we could show you a way to build your business, but it wasn’t so much about sales or salesmanship but more about your why. Your why is the reason you are motivated to make this happen. When you really understand your why, you will  figure out how to make it happen. In a lot of instances, it is just sharing your excitement and enthusiasm, and being willing to help others.

What about the objection I don’t have the money
Again, if I understand you correctly, you really do get what’s going on here and would love to do it, but you’re not sure you have the funds to invest, would you say that’s right? Now what if you could use a combination of credit cards to do this, would that help? What if there was a way that you could have the money to pay that credit card bill when it came due, if that were the case would you be ready to move forward?

What about the objection I don’t like network marketing
It’s obvious you have a good reason for saying that. Do you mind if I ask what that is? Have you had a home-based business before or been involved in network marketing? Find out what their experience was, an if  possible why that was the experience they had. Again keep in mind this not only has to do with your mindset, but it has to do with the mindset of the person you are talking to. Maybe they have tried network marketing before and didn’t have very good results. The truth is most people don’t but here’s the difference, just because you fall off your bicycle while you are learning to ride, do you stop trying? I’m sure the answer is no you didn’t quit. I’m here to tell you that if you won’t quit in network marketing you will get there, you will find success. The only people that don’t attain success in network marketing or anything else, for that matter, is those that quit. Winners never quit and quitters never win. Make that your attitude, adapt that mindset, and when do you, there will not be anything or anyone that can keep you from obtaining your success.

These are all possible solutions to the 4 main objections you will hear and they will help if you implement them. The one thing about rejection is you cannot take it personally, they are not rejecting you. Know that and recognize that, to be able to do that again and again requires having the proper mindset. It’s about being confident in oneself, it’s about convinced of your why and being unshakable, unflappable in the face of whatever happens.

When you’re talking with someone the best thing that you can do is try to put yourself in their position, and realize that there’s one of two things that is most likely going through their minds. There are going to be some people that are thinking, first of all, I’m not the least bit interested in this, I have no intention of doing this whatsoever. Second group of people are likely thinking, I’m interested but I will need help if this is going to work. That’s an attitude you can work with. Now stop and think about that for a moment, a lot of people experience self-doubt about themselves and their ability to get something done. One of your roles is to help them understand that they are not the alone in having those feelings; others have felt that way as well. Actually the majority of people do, but that can be overcome and displaced with confidence.

There are four basic objections that you’re going to need to deal with, they may not be worded exactly like this but are a close variation.

Those four main objections are:
#1. Lack of money
#2. Lack of time
#3. Don’t like network marketing
#4. I am not a salesperson

Social Networking Site changes how people build or grow their network marketing business. You read that correctly, keep reading to learn how and what you can do.

No Quit Attitude
Success is not attained by just having a no quit attitude, although that is necessary. If just not quitting means you would be successful then people who are stubborn would be very successful. Stubborn people don’t quit but just keep trying but that alone does not help you reach a level of success. Why? Because it does not rest on that alone, if you mix that no quit mindset  with making the necessary adjustments and successful strategies then that would work. You can have a no quit attitude but if you do not change what is not working then you will still not attain the desired level of success. We all know what insanity is, and it makes perfect sense, it is crazy to expect different results from the same activities. If what you are doing is not working then change what you are doing, don’t stop working or quit.

The Size of Your Team
In network marketing ones success is determined by the size of the team one can build. The bigger your team, the more valuable you are to the network marketing company. It all comes down to one simple truth: if you have a big enough team, you’ll make money in any network marketing company. Here is one of the dilemmas, you start your home based business and immediately have a recurring bill its called autoship. So what is the first thing you do? You go to people you know and share what it is you are doing. Some might see it and some might not, but you are starting to feel pressure because you have this autoship coming up, and it is costing you money that you might not have to invest. So you are sharing your business with everything that moves but still your team is not growing, and you are realizing a loss every month. Now what? Do you quit and decide this industry just does not work or do you look for a better way to build your business? My suggestion is the later because it is not the industry that doesn’t work, you just need to change your network marketing strategy or develop your one.

What if there was a way
What if there was a way you could   do it all differently, would you be interested? How about joining a social networking site that is for people just like you, entrepreneurs and people that are like minded, would that be exciting? You say that is great and sounds good but how does that help with the autoship, well the truth is it might not in that instance but the next time you are ready to do something it will. What do I mean? Well let’s look at it, you joined a company before you had a team and immediately was at a loss because of the autoship. What if this time around you built your team first before you ever signed up for a company? What, how do you do that?

There is a Way to Build Your Team
There is a way to build your team, and here it is, you become a part of a social networking site called Own Your Channel. It is a place you can associate and connect with people who think like you do, these are people that are entrepreneurs, leaders and not followers. One reason, you brought a team with you, and now you are making money because you have a team, and it is continuing to grow and develop. That check is increasing because your team is growing on a consistent basis.

Wrap Up
Let me wrap this up, you and your team are making money. Now OYC adds another company to the portfolio, and you think great, I love this. So you bring your team with you into company B, what did you just do? You just doubled your income. You also took out an insurance policy on your business. All that means is if something happens in company B, you still have your team and LGN. So to skip ahead, over time OYC adds 10 maybe 15 companies to their portfolio. Not just any company but companies that do business the right way and take care of their associates. As a result you just increased your income 10 or 15 fold but all with the same one team that you built. Amazing and outstanding. Do you realize what you have in front of you? If you do you will run not walk and get started. Build your team one time and benefit from it for as long as you live.

I guess it has been now about six months ago that the thought came to me that  social networks could change network marketing. I shared it with a good friend, but he did not see it at the time, and so it was shelved. I then began to do some additional research and found a social networking site that was just getting ready to launch. The amazing thing about it was it was incorporating the concept I had about how a group of people together could bring about change.

That was pretty incredible but at the time as crazy as it sounds. I did not engage. I was too busy with something else  but always kept the idea in the back of mind because I knew they were on to something.

Long story short about three weeks ago I decided to engage with this social networking site and boy am I glad I did. This is about people getting together that are like minded and all about being entrepreneurs. This is one of those instances in my life that the timing was perfect.

This social network is unlike anything I have ever seen or been part of. Let me back up for just a minute. I love Network Marketing and that is how I earn my living but in all honesty as great as it is there are things that are frustrating and in some instances beyond ones control. Network Marketing is wonderful but requires you to build a team every time you become part of a new business or something occurs in the company you are in.

So if you love the industry like I do you pick up and go again because you know there is nothing else like it. The downside is starting almost from scratch and building over. Stop, hold everything. You mean I don’t have to do that here in this social networking site. I only have to build a team one time and that is it, no matter what happens in the company A. No more starting from scratch, no more going back to the people that know, like and trust me again. Yes, that is the case, well sign me up.

Think about it if you are in or have been around network marketing you know exactly what I am referring to. Those days are now over. I am building my team for the last time and yet this team, and I will generate more money and help more people than we have ever done in the past. Fantastic falls far short of what this really is but actually there is no word to express my excitement.

What is Required to have Success in Network Marketing?

Network Marketing is ideal for everybody. But, every person
is not right for Network Marketing.

Network Marketing or MLM is an outstanding profession, and actually
an opportunity where somebody with no education, famous background,
or a large sum of money can learn and become successful.
It offers the American dream!

The benefits are extraordinary. High earning potential, tax benefits,
travel opportunities, and the opportunity to pay it forward by
assisting others with their success while you are building your
own success.

Even so, it’s still not for everyone.

Why? It takes a certain disposition to be successful. That disposition,
is being determined and where failure is looked upon as a stepping stone
on the road to success, and not a quitting point.

So without a doubt I would highly recommend everyone who
desires a better lifestyle, the opportunity for time and financial
freedom, to contemplate network marketing as a career option -
but before you consider doing that, give yourself an honest evaluation.

Let me point out two words that I used here that you normally might not
relate to the Network Marketing Industry. Those words are profession
and career. Those are words people use when talking about a real business,
exactly and that is what Network Marketing is, a real business.

If you have been in the Network Marketing industry for very long you have asked this question. Why is it that some people can have a successful network marketing business and others simply don’t?

The answer is easier than you might think. Although before I answer that question let me lay some groundwork.

Most people that your prospecting  or sponsor will be those just passing through, willing to take a stab at it, the attitude of who knows it might work. The fact is 97% of them will quit and a handful will make something. Notice if you will that I did not say they will fail, I said they will quit, there is a difference.

So what is the answer to the question? Most people quit most things not just network marketing and the reason is they don’t think like the 2-3% of the population who enjoys great success. Is it that simple? Yes it actually is. There is a Scripture in Proverbs that states: ” As a man thinketh in his heart so is he”. That is original, that is not someone’s spin on it or the latest guru’s idea. You are what you think you are. So what is it that you think you are? Have you ever asked yourself that question? I recommend you do and give serious thought to your answer. It will be a determining factor in having success in network marketing or not having success.

If you’re thinking is wrong then your actions or behavior will be wrong as well. You cannot think one way and act or live another way.

I have touched on this in other posts, but you need to know you deserve success. If you don’t think you deserve success, everything else you do will be a moot point. If you think you deserve success then you have no problem thinking about yourself as successful and the result of that over time is you will begin to act successful. Which means you will have success in your home based business but also life. Have a can do attitude, an attitude of no quitting. When you have that success wealth mindset than it is only a matter of time until you experience it.

Why is it that people that have not experienced success in other areas of their lives, consider that a home based business would be any different? What happens is they don’t think and behave like they are successful, and it carries over into all areas of life not just one. However when people don’t experience success in network marketing it is the fault of the industry? It’s a scam or it was not the real deal or some excuse. Change your thinking and that will result in different actions.

It is not network marketing that is the problem or keeping you from success it is your thinking. Network Marketing is actually affording you the chance to change your life. To reach a place where you can experience time freedom and financial freedom. Find out what the successful people are doing and make it your own.

Successful Network Marketing Business

There is not only one way to build a successful network marketing business. There are some absolute components that are necessary for everyone to incorporate but not just one way to succeed in network marketing.

You have to find out what it takes to be successful, learn the different strategies and then make them your own. You cannot and do not fit the mold of someone else. There is only one mold you fit, one person like you in the entire world, so what you do is learn the different tactics, strategies, the do’s and don’ts and then use them in the way that you are comfortable. That allows you to be yourself while you implement the different strategies into your home based business. You can then put your own spin on the network marketing recruiting that must be part of your overall network marketing strategy. Too many times people are trying to be someone else instead of building their business just using the strategies that work. A key to success in any business, especially the network marketing business is being who you are and not trying to be someone else.

It’s called network marketing not product marketing. It’s about becoming connected with like minded individuals, never forget network marketing is about people and especially if you expect to experience MLM success.

You can have absolutely the best products, best network marketing compensation plan, best company but without people you can connect with, all you have is the best products, comp plan and company. Don’t misunderstand those are all very important but without people to share those things, you don’t have a network marketing company. The emphasis many times is on the product, the compensation plan but it needs to be on people. If your goal is to build a massive business then you are going to need a lot of people who think and see it the way you do. Put your energy into people, reach out to people, offer to help them reach their goals, offer to help them find and attain what it is they want. If you do that then you will succeed in network marketing and there will not be anything that can keep you from it.
