Related to what our site is about so many times we just settle for what we consider to be tolerable, a certain level of  safety. What I mean by that is this, we will do something that we really don’t like because it provides a level of safety, we work a job which enables us to barely pay the bills, at least until the next check arrives. We stay at a JOB because in most instances we are afraid to get out of the boat for fear of failure. It doesn’t feel safe, we would prefer to put our safety and security into the hands of someone that really does not have our best interest at heart or the best interest of our family at the top of their list.

You have to decide what you want out of life and go for it almost with careless regard. Temper that statement with common sense. Don’t settle when you know there is more.

Decisions are what determine the course of your life.The question is are you satisfied where you are? Will your JOB get you to where you want to go?

Ann Sieg states that the internet is that system. I would agree only in part because the Internet is a piece of the system. Let’s look again at what she says; if there was a system out there that could do this for people, network marketers would be going bananas over it. There would be rabid mobs of distributors up in arms to get their hands on it. I am 110% in agreement with that statement. Now, for the really good news there has been a system developed that will do exactly what she talks about. But before we get there most of the systems that people are aware of are not the kind of system that will produce real success in network marketing . Unfortunately the so-called systems actually generate tire kicker leads, my friend you cannot build a business with those kinds of leads, don’t waste your time or money.

What you need, what every network marketer needs is a network marketing system of attraction marketing that generates a warm sea of presorted, qualified and ready to go leads. You also need a system that will train your new distributors and walk them through the system that will allow duplication over and over again. In a franchise, the franchisees go through a rigorous and extensive training where every detail is covered. The HOW is provided and there is nothing left to chance, right down to smallest detail, from it’s appearance, to the uniform or dress code, and even down to how the phones are to be answered. The training is intensive to say the least, and the franchisee has to sign paperwork stating they will follow it to a tee. The franchisee is not just purchasing a franchise, they are getting a systematic system that produces consistent results when followed.

Now compare that to MLM or network marketing, the training one receives if at all is:

• Be enthusiastic
• Make your list
• Talk to anything that moves, and if you have to shake the bushes.
• If someone is within three feet of you, they are a candidate.
• Do three-way calls and be sure to build up the person doing the call,
  set them up as the expert instead of you being the expert. Wrong!

You know the drill so let’s not rehash that, the point is people join network marketing and are immediately put on the front lines with no training and with no experience, and then we wonder why the mlm success rate is in the basement. Now there are naysayers out there that would use those numbers to imply that network marketing or MLM is a joke, a scam or the well-known reference of those that have no clue a pyramid scheme. The odds of achieving mlm success does not mean for one second that the industry is a scam or a pyramid scheme. Are their scams in network marketing? Absolutely! Are there people that pull off a pyramid scheme most certainly? However, here is a question for the naysayers. Are there scammers in the real estate industry? How about a pyramid scheme in the financial arena? I think you get the point you can find scams anywhere you choose to look almost but just because you can find a scam or pyramid scheme does not mean that industry as a whole is a scam or a pyramid scheme or if you like a ponzi scheme. Sorry to disappoint!

Why Do People Just Settle

Let’s examine this shall we. Why do you think the majority of people just settle for a J.O.B.(just over broke) instead of being an entrepreneur or a business owner? I think the reason at least to some degree is because they think it is just easier to settle instead of swimming upstream and fighting for what they really want.

Another factor is the majority of people do not think as they go through life that it is all that important to stay in touch with people they come in contact with. Let’s look at the comparison rate of mlm success and franchises success.
The International Franchise Association states that after 5 years, 92% of franchises are still in business. Look at that number again 92% are still operating after 5 years. Those are pretty good odds. Let’s compare that to network marketing as a whole,  the mlm success rate is 3%, huge difference.

There are a lot of different factors when it comes to the cost of a franchise but let’s just use McDonald’s as an example, to own a McDonald’s will take and investment somewhere between $1 million to $1.8 million.For other franchises the investment can be $30,000 to $250,000 and up. The vast majority of network marketing companies offer their business opportunities for an investment of anywhere between $200 to $2000, some lower and some higher. Considering the lower investment of a network marketing business, is it any wonder why scores join and then walk away as they have far less to lose than in a normal franchise scenario or in a traditional business, for that matter?

Most that join network marketing do not treat their business as a real business but in my opinion, that is a very small factor to why they do not experience mlm success.

Let’s tie this all together if we can. What have we learned? We have learned that people that invest in a franchise have a success rate of 92% even after five years. We have also learned that the rate of mlm success is just 3%. The difference of cost between a franchise and a network marketing opportunity are significantly different. You Need A Network Marketing System

I don’t know what actually is the thing about network marketing that is frustrating to you but I have a pretty good idea. We could go on and get real specific about what we like, don’t like, what does and doesn’t frustrate us? Here is the point I am wanting to make. Not one of us likes hype, smoke and mirrors or situations where someone is not telling the whole story or makes it sound so easy that anyone could do it but leaves out the part of it requiring a lot of work, skill and existing knowledge. I think we would all or at least most of us agree on that. The only way it can be done by the majority without the requirement of extraordinary skills is with a network marketing system and not just what someone decides to label a network marketing system. Let’s get down to it.

Before I do that let me just state that I am a fan of network marketing. Does that mean that I am oblivious to all the things that happen in the industry? Absolutely not but I realize that there are a lot of things in other business models that I don’t like as well, so I am not about to throw the baby out with the bath water. All that simply means is I am not going to get rid of something good because there is something bad that is part of it as well.

Lot’s Of Hype In Network Marketing

There is a lot of hype in network marketing, those that are having success make it sound as if anyone can be successful. The reality is that is not true, at least not without a lot of hands-on training, hundreds of hours invested and not to mention the cost to make it happen. There are exceptions but if you are not one of those exceptions do you even care? A lot of the people that are successful had an inside connection, someone who actually took them under their wing so to speak, and therefore, they were fast tracked to success. Does that happen for the so called “average” person? Not in my experience it doesn’t.

You Need An Almost Immediate Solution

Look I am not saying it cannot be done. It can, but it also can take months and a lot of the time years. So, one of my questions for you is, do you have that kind of time? Probably not, if you are looking for a solution, more than likely, you need an almost immediate one. In network marketing, it is now being touted to brand yourself, build You Inc. Use social media, places like Facebook. Create a fanpage and oh yea, don’t forget you need a WordPress blog and lot of content. Also you have to know how to optimize it and on and on. Furthermore, you need to be able to put videos together, and have a YouTube channel. Am I knocking those things, most definitely not, but is it as easy as some would have you believe? Again, definitely not.

Legitimate Network Marketing System

Your maximum result is going to be found in having a system that ensures the success of everyone using it. The success of others, and your success, is contingent based on their ability to duplicate the things you do. The beauty of a legitimate network marketing system is that the results are not based on the skills of the person using it, even those with less experience or no experience can have success if it is a true network marketing system.

There are multiple ways I suppose to view this but right now there are two I am most interested in. You can develop a so called system that everyone can quickly duplicate your efforts and achieve the same results as you with a ton of work and time investment. Or the second one is the kind of network marketing system that is of utmost interest to me, and that is one that does most of the work for you. One where you do not have to use Facebook, WordPress, blog posts or even videos. One that does the training of new people for you and produces the same systematic results for the majority of people and then some phenomenal results for others because of their work ethic. This second kind of system solves the problem of the majority of people in and coming into network marketing.

The goal for your network marketing business is for each person that follows the system to have success, not just once but over and over. To have duplication occur it has to be based on a system, not an individuals skill or abilities. Let’s look at an example that might help clarify this. Someone was just hired to work in a machine shop to run a drill press. What is a drill press? A drill press is a machine that turns and advances a rotary tool which, for the most part, drills a hole in a piece of metal. Now this person that was just hired has never run a drill press before, but that is okay because it is the drill press itself that does most of the work. You can have a person that has been running a drill press for years and one that is brand new.

The results are going to happen for both with the difference being the one with experience will be faster and more accurate. The one just starting will in short order become faster and more accurate. How is that? Because it is the drill press that is drilling the holes. They simply spin the handle that pulls the drill down into place. It’s a machine, and it does exactly what it is supposed to do.  A network marketing system does exactly what it is supposed to do, and anyone can do it. You cannot duplicate the experienced worker, but you can duplicate the results with a machine, and the same holds true in network marketing if you have a network marketing system.

You Cannot Duplicate A Person But A System Can Duplicate Your Results

I have stated this before, but it bears repeating, McDonald’s has a system that duplicates the same result’s day in and day out. The founder of McDonald’s could not be duplicated, but the system can be. What if you could get your hands on a network marketing system that duplicates the same result’s day in, and day out would that interest you? Or do you prefer the way you are trying to do it now that requires loads of work along with consistently repeating the process, if you are going to attain any long-term results?
