My Definition of Success is being all you were meant to be and accomplishing all that you are meant to accomplish, as a human being. I believe that every human being that has ever graced  planet earth was here by design.  There is no such thing as an accident, amazingly not everyone believes that, there are those that think they were an accident? They may have even been told by someone that was suppose to love them that they were an accident. I am here to tell you there are no accidents, if you are here, you are here for a reason. I also believe that every human being has great value and great worth, but unless each human being knows and understands that for themselves, they will never live their life with purpose. If you accept that, we quickly realize that millions upon millions of people do not know or understand their worth.

All one has to do is observe people, watch their actions, behavior and listen to how they talk about themselves and others, it is not that difficult to determine who does and who doesn’t know and understand their worth as a person. People who know and understand their value and worth, would never do the things people who don’t know, do. Someone that really understands their value and worth is not going to lie, cheat or steal or commit violent acts toward another human being, as an example. Why? Because those acts diminish one’s value and worth. When you tell one lie, the progression is another lie to cover or at least attempt to hide the first one from being discovered. The word worth in the Greek is the word Axios and it means worthy and carries the connotation of weight, when you truly understand your worth -value, you are not going to participate in activities that reduce your worth-weight.

When coins were minted from sliver and gold, the value of the coin was based on its weight, as the coins were in circulation they would lose weight and thereby some of the worth simply by being handled. Some of the weight of the coin would be lost, and so the value of the coin was diminished. A person can experience the same thing in a sense by just walking through this world, by the decisions they make. That is why it is so important to understand you have worth, and a certain amount of weight that is part of who you are. You no doubt have heard someone make the statement; that person is worth their weight in gold. The next time you hear that it might take on a new meaning for you. So as you pass through life you constantly reinforce your worth by your actions and you continue to add to your worth-weight by what you do and what you don’t do. You handle the adversities of life with courage and fortitude, you adapt a no quit attitude, no matter how big the obstacles may appear to be. When you understand your value, you are better equipped to stand in those circumstances. You become a weighty person, which simply means that you are not flimsy in the face of adversity. You are grounded and know who you are.
