So, you have found your way to my blog… allow me to share a bit about myself, and what you can expect from this site.

My name is Scott Bowling which you probably already knew; I live in the Austin, Texas area. I am a God follower, father, son of wonderful parents, brother of two brothers, and a great sister that has made her way to heaven. I thoroughly enjoy my coffee or mocha in the morning and sometimes throughout the day.

I am so glad you have stopped by to meet us at Scott -Bowling.com  which is all about having MLM Success and a Network Marketing Strategy! It is our intention to clear up a lot of myths about the Network Marketing Industry and to share with you steps you can take to attain success. One thing to understand right away is that it is network marketing, and to be successful, is to recognize that it is about people and building relationships, thus the term network. It is about making connections with people where they are.

I am very passionate about this industry because I know the potential it has to change someones life financially and time wise. I have been around this industry since the early eighties. The first company that I ever participated in was a company called Meadow Fresh, there have been many since then. My philosophy or attitude is never quit; some might say I have no quitting since. What I know is if we want our lives to be different we cannot continue to do, what has not worked,  we have to keep moving forward, adjusting and improving until we reach our goal. Each day I am one step closer to where I want to be, and what I want to do.

I do not have a lot of patience or respect for people who make excuses or for people who do not honor their word. Obviously, I never lived in the era of when business was done on a handshake but could have. Integrity still means something to me, now I will tell you that diplomacy is not my strongest suit but saying what I mean and meaning what I say is. I have learned a lot over the years and can tell you that a lot of things have changed but what can never change is the foundation and that has to be truth. You have to stand for something or as someone said you will fall for anything.

No doubt you want to know why I set up this website. Why is your network marketing success so important to me? What makes me qualified to give the advice and information I do, and why has it become a goal of mine to share my experiences and information with people like you.

The vision for all of my sites is to provide a platform for network marketing success based on skills and competence which are the foundation for any successful business.

So, what qualifies me to develop a website on network marketing strategy?

Its twofold really.

* Firstly there is my professional background prior to my network marketing career.

* Secondly there are my several years of experience building my own network marketing business.

So lets start with what I did prior to network marketing.

My professional background prior to network marketing was in outside sales and as a small business owner. In my sales career, I was always in the top percentile of the industry, my Mom likes to say I could sell a snowball to an Eskimo. I have also owned a cellular business with retail stores. I have a strong desire for helping people to learn, grow and develop skills so that they realize their real potential, achieve their goals and live life on their terms!

The first time network marketing was presented to me years ago, truthfully I did not see the tremendous opportunity being offered. It was not until a few years ago that I really saw the opportunity to get involved with network marketing as a real business. It didn’t take me long to realize how my personal values, my passion, vision and persistence would fit perfectly into this business model. It would also allow me to help others to succeed in business as well.

What was it that got me exploring a range of options for generating income and planning for my future?

When working for different companies, even though very successful at it, I realized there had to be more to life than being a supervisor or having a supervisor dictating what to do and when to do it, my income effectively limited, working long hours, no real job security and hoping there would be enough to retire on. So I started my own business but soon discovered that it would take long hours, be costly to start and maintain, employees and so on. It had to be a hands on business, I had to be there all the time at least in the beginning which did not provide a lot of free time, if any.

I knew there had to be a better way and that is when network marketing became very attractive to me. I wanted something that would pay me a residual income, a way to make money from my efforts yesterday. I saw how I could not only leverage my own efforts but the efforts of others as well. The start up cost was minimal and something almost everyone could afford. I saw network marketing as my opportunity to get off the treadmill of trading time for dollars. It could afford me the opportunity to have success but not at the price of everything else.

Network Marketing takes a huge commitment and is hard work but the upside at least for me is I call the shots and don’t have the huge investment or overhead. I am able to build a residual income and have financial and time freedom.  I want you to understand that it is not a walk in the park but it possible to achieve success if you want it.
